I’m just a dreamer!
I wish I could take off and fly,
Up like an eagle, in the blue sky.
Climb high mountains without any fear.
Sprint on land, just like a deer.
Looks like a model, I’d really like.
Sing for a party, in the mike.
Eat paneer or halwa and gain no fat
Own five mansions and not just a flat.
I’m just a dreamer!
Of energy like lightning, could I possess.
Have truckloads of money, with no tax assess.
Do what I want, what I think is right.
With no dumb bosses, to turn around and fight.
Drive each day in a Mercedes Benz.
Go to Five Star hotels, at my father in laws expense.
Eats lots of Ice Creams and Pizzas too.
Falling ill thereafter, I never do.
Oh! I’m just a dreamer!
Drive a racing car or fly a Jumbo jet.
Marksman like me you’ve never met.
Do bungy jumping or ride a submarine.
No actor like me on the silver screen
A hundred sons and daughters, not so few.
All women around me, less than twenty-two.
A thousand lengths a day, in my swimming pool.
Dressed up in diamonds and look real cool.
I’m actually a dreamer!
Two lovely children and a wonderful wife.
For me they are, ultimate in life.
We really like ice creams but fall sick too.
I run few metres and then I go – ‘Phew.’
In my old Fiat, as we drive along,
I always hum a tuneless song.
I’m a smart old man of thirty-six.
My falling hair now does need a fix.
I’m still a dreamer!
With a small little paunch over my belt
Proud like a king, is what I’ve felt.
One small flat and money in the bank
I’m very happy, of that I’m frank.
I do what I want, with my mind at peace.
Enjoy myself and do what I please.
The grace of God are my life’s winnings.
To see me through in my life’s innings.
But I will still be a dreamer!!!
